Embrace a hands-on role with JARDEG CONSTRUCTION SERVICES LTD. as a Carpenter Apprentice on the VIDO project in Saskatoon. This position offers a dynamic work schedule, including potential afternoons and weekends.
As a Carpenter Apprentice, you'll acquire real-world skills in carpentry through a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities will include constructing concrete forms, studying blueprints, and inspecting work for deficiencies. Collaboration with supervisors and team members will enrich your learning experience while maintaining site order.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct forms for concrete projects
• Cut, shape, and join materials effectively
• Identify and amend work deficiencies
• Set up temporary structures and hoarding
• Ensure general site upkeep and safety
Requirements:
• Registered Carpenter Apprentices preferred
• Proven experience with concrete formwork required
• Certifications in CSTS and WHMIS expected
• Beneficial to have skid steer and zoom boom certifications
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
