Position: Acden Mechanic for Heavy Equipment
Become a part of the Acden Base Operators team as a Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic in Fort Mackay offering a fly in fly out work model. This position emphasizes both maintenance and repair of various heavy equipment, ensuring operational success at the airport.

In this role, you will handle service and maintenance tasks on diesel-powered equipment. Applicants should be a certified Heavy Equipment Technician with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic diagnostics is essential along with proficiency in technical manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance on light and heavy vehicles

• Diagnose and repair airport operational equipment

• Complete service reports and interpret work orders

• Conduct safety and quality checks regularly

• Address emergencies and other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent

• 3-5 years relevant field experience

• Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification a plus

• Class 1 or Class 3 license with Q endorsement an asset

• Must meet pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
