Heavy Duty Mechanic (Power Gen / HVAC focus) | Saskatoon, SK | $40–$46/hr

We are looking for an independent, hands-on Heavy Duty Mechanic ready to start within the next three weeks.

We’re looking for an independent, hands‑on Heavy Duty Mechanic who is comfortable working both in the shop and as a field tech. You’ll focus on maintenance and repairs of diesel engines, power generation equipment, HVAC systems, and related mechanical systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Working independently in both shop and on‑site/field environments
• Completing service documentation and reporting equipment condition
• Occasional customer‑site visits and equipment demonstrations
• Mentoring junior techs when needed

• Strong Heavy Duty mechanical experience (this is the primary focus)
• Power Generation experience is a big plus
• Journeyman or Red Seal certification preferred
• 3–5+ years diagnosing and repairing diesel engines / HD equipment
• Comfortable reading schematics and working independently
• Own the tools for the trade
• Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs

• $40–$46 per hour
