Position: Utility Equipment Operator Required
Take on a pivotal role as a Utility Equipment Operator with the City of Saskatoon, where your skills in operating heavy machinery will ensure efficient municipal services. This position involves a mixture of site maintenance tasks and public safety responsibilities.

Under the guidance of Supervisor VI, you will manage various types of equipment, from garbage compactors to trucks, ensuring all operations align with safety regulations. Maintaining equipment performance and assisting in training others will be critical to your role. Your dedication to service records will help facilitate effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently

• Conduct snow removal and site maintenance activities

• Maintain and service operated machinery

• Train others on safe operating procedures

• Manage safety protocols during refuse unloading operations

Requirements:

•

Education:

Grade 12 or GED within a year

• Five years of experience in heavy equipment operation

• Required Saskatchewan Class 1A Learner’s Licence

• Safe driving record as confirmed by SGI

• Ability to obtain a first aid certificate
