The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and business expansion across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region within the fast-paced freight and supply chain industry. This leadership position requires a strategic, hands on professional who can lead sales initiatives, build high-performing teams, and deliver consistent results across land transport, ocean freight, and air cargo services.
The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry expertise, a strong client network, and a proven track record in B2B logistics sales to secure new business, strengthen client relationships, and shape the company's market presence. Your leadership will directly influence the company's trajectory, making this a critical role in achieving long-term commercial success.
- Lead and execute sales strategy across land transport, ocean freight, and air cargo services
- Drive business growth in FTL, LTL, project logistics, FCL, LCL, and air freight segments
- Acquire new clients and deepen relationships with existing accounts
- Expand into high-potential industries including construction, oil & gas, FMCG, retail, and manufacturing
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance sales team
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
- Oversee pricing strategies, tenders, negotiations, and long-term contract execution
- Collaborate closely with operations to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities across KSA and GCC
- Deliver consistent revenue growth and margin improvement while meeting or exceeding targets
- 7-12+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL sales
- In-depth knowledge of land transport, ocean freight, and air cargo operations
- Proven experience with Incoterms, shipping documentation, and GCC logistics regulations
- Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Prior leadership experience in building and managing sales teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Existing client network in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in CRM systems and modern sales enablement tools
