Role DescriptionThe Vendor Qualification & Tender Management Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Abqaiq. This role is responsible for evaluating and qualifying vendors in line with company and Saudi Aramco requirements, maintaining approved vendor lists, and supporting vendor onboarding documentation. The specialist will coordinate tender preparation, review tender documents and specifications, compile technical and commercial proposals, and ensure compliance with internal policies and client standards.
Daily tasks include managing procurement-related communications, tracking tender timelines, organizing clarifications with vendors and internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records in procurement and contract management systems. The role also involves analyzing bids, supporting negotiation strategies, and collaborating with project, engineering, and finance teams to achieve competitive and compliant tender submissions.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review vendor data, evaluate bids, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Procurement and Contract Management skills to handle vendor qualification, tender processes, and contract documentation.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation and Communication skills to manage vendor relationships and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office and relevant ERP or procurement systems, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Relevant experience in contracting, oil & gas, or engineering services, preferably with Saudi Aramco standards or similar industry regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Abqaiq, manage multiple tenders simultaneously, and adhere to safety and compliance requirements.
- Fluency in English;
Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
