The Regional HR Shared Services Specialist provides end-to-end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle for a defined region/site. The role focuses on accurate and timely processing of HR Payroll/ transactions, maintaining high data quality in HR systems, supporting time & attendance and leave administration, and delivering responsive customer service to employees and managers

The Regional HR Shared Services Specialist provides end-to-end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle for a defined region/site. The role focuses on accurate and timely processing of HR Payroll/ transactions, maintaining high data quality in HR systems, supporting time & attendance and leave administration, and delivering responsive customer service to employees and managers

What You Will Do HR Operations / Employee Lifecycle Support
  • Process and coordinate employee lifecycle transactions, including:
  • Hiring/onboarding: initiating hires in myHR, coordinating pre-employment documentation, preparing onboarding checklists, and ensuring day‑one readiness.
  • Employee changes: transfers, role change, reporting line updates, cost center/location changes, compensation‑related changes (as per process), and contract updates.
  • Separations: resignation/termination processing, final documentation coordination, exit checklists, and system updates aligned with policy and local requirements.
  • Process and coordinate employee lifecycle transactions, including:
  • Ensure all transactions are completed within agreed turnaround times and meet defined quality standards.
HR Systems, Payroll and Data Management & Documentation
  • Prepare Payroll timely and accurately, maintain accurate employee records in myHR, ensuring completeness, consistency, and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Perform routine data checks and validations to prevent downstream payroll, benefits, or reporting errors.
  • Maintain and update HR documentation such as templates, checklists, and standard forms; ensure version control and proper storage.
  • Time & Attendance and Leave Administration
Employee/Manager Support (Service Delivery)
  • Act as a primary contact for HR operations questions, providing clear guidance on standard HR policies, guidelines, and forms.
  • Provide a positive experience by setting expectations, communicating status updates proactively, and closing requests with appropriate documentation.
  • Escalate sensitive, complex, or non‑standard cases (e.g., disciplinary matters, complex employee relations, legal escalations) to HRBP.
  • Vendor & Third-Party Coordination (Medical Renewals, Ceridian System, others as applicable).
Reporting, Metrics & Compliance Support
  • Prepare routine operational reports and trackers such as: onboarding progress, case volume, turnaround time, transaction accuracy, leave trends, and recurring inquiry themes.
  • Support internal audits and compliance checks by ensuring documentation is complete and accessible.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure ethical handling of employee information in all interactions and reporting.
Process Improvement & Standardization
  • Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, and rework drivers; recommend practical improvements to simplify processes and improve service quality.
  • Development of right resources for Knowledge Articles and policies
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g., system rollouts, policy updates, harmonization efforts) to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in HR operations/shared services, preferably in a multi-site or regional environment.
  • Working knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, HR policies, and basic labor law/compliance concepts.
  • Strong attention to details, organization, and ability to manage multiple requests with deadlines.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office (Excel/Outlook/Word); comfortable working with data and reports.
  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset. High integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
