Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead Drilling Waste Management (DWM) and Drilling Fluids (DF) operations in the UAE to oversee daily operations, drive business growth, and ensure QHSE compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Drilling Waste Management (DWM) and Drilling Fluids (DF) operations, ensuring efficient project execution and client satisfaction
  • Lead a team to deliver operational excellence, meeting client requirements and company standards
  • Drive business growth through new opportunities, client relationships, and strategic planning
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE policies, regulations, and local authority standards
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, budgets, and performance targets
  • Collaborate with sales teams to deliver technical proposals and presentations
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring timely delivery and cost control

Required Experience & Skills
  • 8+ years in DWM and/or DF operations in the UAE Oil & Gas sector
  • Proven track record of managing operations and leading teams
  • Strong understanding of drilling operations, waste management, and drilling fluids
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Degree or Diploma in engineering, petroleum science, or related field
  • Valid UAE residency and right to work
Preferred
  • Experience in business development and sales
  • Strong commercial skills, including contract management and negotiation
  • Proficiency in CRM and operational software
