Charge Nurse 1

The Charge Nurse 1 supports operational excellence by ensuring effective execution of charge nursing processes, which includes but is not limited to being accountable for enhancing workflows, patient safety measures, and team collaboration; providing mentorship and advanced problem‑solving in order to bridge complex clinical and operational challenges.

30% of duties are strategic roles.

• Support the development and execution of midlevel strategic nursing initiatives
• Contribute to key organizational projects
• Participate in developing metrics and reporting on nursing outcomes

70% of duties are operational roles.

• Supervise team performance and mentor staff members
• Address escalated issues and oversee patient care
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and hospital regulations
• Implement operational improvements in resource utilization and workflow efficiency
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and patient care outcomes

Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.

Current licensure as a professional registered nurse specialist. Certification in clinical specialty preferred.

Minimum 6 years of applicable experience.
