• Assist licensed stylists with hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing techniques to ensure smooth service delivery
• Prepare clients by shampooing, conditioning, and setting up tools for various hair treatments including extensions, coloring, and styling
• Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly
• Manage client communication at the front desk, including scheduling appointments and answering questions about services and products
• Support retail sales efforts through upselling hair care products, accessories, and additional services such as makeup or nail care treatments
• Help with store management tasks like inventory organization and product merchandising to enhance the client experience
• Learn and utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail transactions

• Prior experience working in the beauty industry or a strong interest in developing skills in hair styling, coloring, and hair extensions
• Knowledge of salon sanitation practices and cosmetology standards
• Familiarity with hair care products, color theory, and styling techniques including blowouts and braiding
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Basic retail math skills for upselling products and managing sales transactions
• Experience with salon software such as Fresha is a plus but not required; training will be provided
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the salon environment
