Delivery Dispatcher

Compensation

Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, ensuring parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Verify accuracy of each order before pickup.
• Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and report delays.
• Monitor hub system and routes to increase efficiency, productivity, and reduce expenses.
• Communicate recommendations to store manager.
• Ensure team members clock in/out according to company policy.
• Investigate unscheduled deliveries and adjust billing as necessary.
• Support coverage in absence of regular city delivery specialists.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections completed.
• Log daily mileage into asset management.
• Provide input on delivery specialist performance for evaluations.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
