Now hiring for a Cabinet Drafter- Direct hire
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM-11:00 AM

Salary: $50,000-$70,000 annually (based on experience)

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required for project site visits.
  • Proficiency with Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and 2020 Design software.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience in cabinetry design, millwork drafting, construction estimating, project coordination, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods, manufacturing processes, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to create elevations, floor plans, shop drawings, and 3D renderings.
  • Experience managing residential and commercial cabinetry or millwork projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to present design concepts, specifications, and project quotes clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, quality, and deadlines.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and navigate office, manufacturing, and construction environments.
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach when reviewing cabinetry, measurements, and project conditions.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs. when handling samples, plans, materials, or project documents.
  • Ability to visually inspect drawings, dimensions, project layouts, and finished products for accuracy.
  • Must be able to safely wear required PPE when visiting construction sites.
Job Duties
  • Create detailed shop drawings, job books, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using Cabinet Vision and CAD software.
  • Develop accurate manufacturing drawings with all dimensions, specifications, and production details required for fabrication.
  • Manage submittals, design revisions, project documentation, and drawing files throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate residential and commercial cabinetry and millwork projects from design through installation.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, builders, installers, and internal teams to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Visit job sites to gather measurements, verify conditions, and collect project information.
  • Calculate material requirements, production costs, and lead times to support accurate project planning.
  • Assist management with project scheduling, workflow management, and profitability goals.
  • Maintain organized project records, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and customer expectations.
