About the Role
Early Learning Tutors serve during the school day and help students aged 3-5 talk, read, write, sing, and play. With training and support from an onsite coach, tutors use activities proven to build early reading and math skills.
Responsibilities- Serve during the school day, helping students aged 3-5 develop communication and early literacy skills.
- Use evidence‑based activities to support early reading and math development with guidance from an onsite coach.
- No teaching experience required.
- Desire to help children succeed.
- Paid Ameri Corps member position with Early Learning Corps.
- A paycheck every two weeks.
- Additional money for college tuition or student loans.
- Child care assistance based on family size and income.
- Federal student loan forbearance and interest repayment.
- Predictable daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends.
- Time off on most school release days and holidays.
