Job Title: 1st Shift Production Supervisor

Compensation: $65,000–$70,000 annually

Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Friday | 5:30am-2:30pm

Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-time

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a food manufacturing company in Sauk Rapids, MN to hire a 1st Shift Production Supervisor. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee production activities, ensure product quality, and help the team meet daily goals. This position plays a key role in maintaining safety, USDA standards, and continuous operational improvements.

• Oversee daily production to ensure schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
• Coordinate startup, support team performance, and work closely with HR as needed
• Troubleshoot issues and support new product launches
• Monitor sanitation and employee performance across work areas
• Maintain equipment readiness and coordinate preventative maintenance with USDA inspectors
• Lead optimization initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
• Participate in safety committees and support improvement initiatives
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing (meat manufacturing preferred)
• 2+ years of experience as a production supervisor
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, scheduling, materials handling, and logistics
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of USDA regulations and basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
