Job Details
Base Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Shift: Days Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
Duties and Responsibilities- Loads and unloads trucks with inbound and outbound materials.
- Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Accurately record material movements in the inventory management system.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks using PIVs.
- Report inventory levels, material shortages, and other issues to Supervisors.
- Performs all functions according to sound safety principles and company policies and procedures.
- Inspect equipment daily, per guidelines, prior to use.
- Completes all necessary paperwork and documentation neatly, timely, and accurately, including quality reports, timecards, etc. Enters data and maintains computer record information as directed.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a team‑oriented work environment.
- Communicates effectively across and within company departments.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the department.
- Monitors product constantly to assure quality standards are being met and rejects product that does not meet quality standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
- One year of material handling experience
- Must obtain Forklift Certification (training and certification provided)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time‑critical issues, and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
- Customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain strong working and vendor relationships.
- Excellent work ethic – ability to work self‑directed and as a flexible team player.
- Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable using a PC with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office.
- Able to deal effectively with various personality types and cultures.
Full‑time
