ROLE OVERVIEW:

You will be responsible to erect and place signs for controlling traffic on road construction projects.

Typical hours are Monday - Friday 5:00am - 7:00pm with an occasional Saturday.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)

* General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent

* Equipment maintenance & operation

* Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)

* Identify and order required signs, barrels and sandbags.

* Erect signs, place barrels, etc. for lane closures

* Take down signs and remove barrels.

* Put up detours.

* Keep sign area in yard clean.

* Pull arrow warning sign during mulch application along roadways.

* Set up lab trailers to state specifications.

* Move lab trailers to construction sites.

* Get electric and phone hook ups for lab trailer.

* Maintain daily worklog.

* Provide necessary communications to federal, state or county inspectors.

* Performs other duties assigned.
