As a Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift operator at Barrett Petfood, you'll immerse yourself in a pivotal role that combines driving expertise and operational efficiency. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, allowing for a consistent work-life balance. Your day will involve utilizing a forklift to navigate through picking lanes, ensuring that orders are accurately picked and built on pallets for timely delivery.

You'll also engage in the essential task of loading and unloading trucks, making sure that materials are handled safely and efficiently. This hands‑on position is perfect for those who enjoy lifting and moving items while upholding our commitment to customer‑centricity and high performance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

To excel as a Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift operator at Barrett Petfood, certain skills and qualifications are essential. Candidates must possess at least six months of forklift experience, ensuring you are proficient in safely maneuvering equipment through our picking lanes. Strong computer knowledge is necessary for tracking inventory and completing order documentation efficiently. An intermediate level of mathematical skill will be valuable for accurately picking and building orders on pallets, as well as for managing quantities effectively.
