Position: Shipper ( Nights 7pm- 7am)

Winpak Portion Packaging is seeking a Shipper to join their Warehouse Dept based out of their Sauk Village location on nights. In this role you will demonstrate various material handling capabilities, ship and receive all raw material, transport inventory and store all product in a safe, efficient manner consistent with all company policies and procedures.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Shipper to join our team. As a key player in our day‑to‑day operations, you’ll be responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping products to customers.

This role offers the chance to grow your skills, work with a supportive team, and play an important part in delivering quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform loading and unloading in a safe, efficient manner following all company rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Cycle count per ISO
    9001.
  • Responsible for receiving inspection of raw materials and packaging.
  • All trucks are to be loaded and unloaded only after using dock locks or wheel chocks. Trailers must be inspected as per the trailer inspection procedure.
  • Ability to load and unload trailers using vendor’s bill of ladings and/or pick list. Quantity, product identification, and condition of product must match that of the bill of lading and/or pick list.
  • Utilize first in, first out rule (FIFO) procedure when pulling product from inventory.
  • Scanning of product / raw materials in and out of plant and warehouse.
  • Responsible for reporting food packaging safety problems to plant management.
  • Must be trained in and follow company policies on GMP, sanitation, pre‑requisite programs, chemical control and food safety plans and policies.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Prior forklift experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards and documentation practices.
  • Must be competent to carry out food packaging safety and quality responsibilities.
  • Must be able to work rotating schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting.
Additional Details
  • This is a rotating day shift.
  • Starting wage is $18.20 - $23.00 per hour.
