JKL Bahweting Anishnabe School is accepting applications for Special Education Paraprofessionals. Starting rate of pay: $21.50 per hour which may be higher based on relative experience. JKL is a K-8 Michigan public charter school dedicated to outstanding educational experiences, serving approximately 600 students. Candidates must possess a minimum of 60 college/university credits or passing of ETS required and the following:

• High degree of patience and tolerance and flexibility.
• Demonstrates good communication skills with parents and professionalism in a variety of situations.
• Must complete and pass a criminal history background check according to applicable laws and school board policies.
• Must comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to safety.
• Must be able to speak English (speak, read, write, and comprehend).
• Must hold and maintain current CPI certification in verbal de-escalation and physical restraint.
