Location: Sault Ste. Marie

Ten full‑time paraprofessional positions are available.

Position Requirements

Applicants must be highly qualified by one of the following methods:

  • Complete at least two years of study at an institution or higher education (equal to 60 semester hours);
  • Obtain an associate’s degree (or higher);
  • Pass one of the formal assessments:
    Work Keys Test (proctored prior to January 2017);
    Michigan Test for Teacher Certification – Basic Skills (MTTC); or ETS Parapro Assessment (proctored at the Sault Schools Administration Building).

The paraprofessional position is a nine (9) month school‑year position with an hourly wage of $18.20 per hour.

Positions have full benefits: medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life, long‑term disability insurance, retirement and Paid Time Off.
