We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout our plant facilities. This position is responsible for routine cleaning, floor care, restroom and common-area maintenance, waste removal, and other facility-related tasks. Maintenance Custodian### Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
** Maintenance Custodian
** to help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout our plant facilities. This position is responsible for routine cleaning, floor care, restroom and common-area maintenance, waste removal, and other facility-related tasks. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can work independently with minimal supervision, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe and professional workplace.### Essential Responsibilities
* Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of all plant facilities.
* Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean assigned areas.
* Strip and wax floors as needed.
* Clean and maintain bathrooms, showers, break rooms, kitchen areas, and other common areas.
* Empty trash and maintain appropriate waste disposal practices.
* Monitor and support the facility's recycling program.
* Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
* Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals.
* Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the Facility Engineer.
* Complete special cleaning and facility projects as assigned.
* Maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with employees throughout the facility.
* Perform additional duties as necessary to support the needs of the company.### Qualifications & Experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Two or more years of experience cleaning commercial facilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
* Ability to effectively communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization.###

Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 8-10 hours or more.
* Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
* Ability to lift and carry up to
