Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures and medical terminology
  • Ability to file and maintain patient records (both paper and electronic), files and reports
  • Ability to use office equipment such as multi-line telephones, computer terminals, and printers.
  • Knowledge of patient care tasks and techniques to provide nursing care.
  • Ability to report changes in the patient's condition to the professional nurse.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe working environment.
  • Skilled in maintaining patient care records.
Qualifications
  • Currently licensed by the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Michigan
  • One year or more experience is ideal
