About the Position
We are seeking a Locums Certified
Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locums opportunity in Sault Ste.
Marie, Michigan. This position involves a mix of clinic work and on-call
coverage, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive,
well-equipped setting with a variety of anesthesia cases.

Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Call

1:4 or 1:5 rotation (weekdays and weekends)

3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekends:
3:00 PM Friday – 7:00 AM Monday
Weekend Call:
1 night of call per week
Clinic/Call Breakdown:
95% Outpatient
5% Inpatient
Cases/Procedures:
Endoscopy
General Surgery
OB/GYN
Orthopedic Surgery
Urology
Blocks (preferred but not required)
No cardiac or neurosurgical cases
EPIC / Dragon
Job Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia care for various
surgical procedures, including endoscopy, general surgery, OB/GYN, ortho,
and urology.
Administer anesthesia for outpatient and
inpatient procedures as required.
Respond to call as scheduled, providing
anesthesia support for urgent or emergent procedures.
Perform spinal and epidural anesthesia,
along with venous and arterial catheters.
Work collaboratively with the surgical
and anesthesia teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
1-2 years of CRNA experience preferred
Proficiency in spinals, epidurals,
venous catheters, and arterial catheters
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
AHA PALS
NBCRNA Certification
Active Michigan CRNA License (required)
