Surveillance Technician Supervisor
The Surveillance Technician Supervisor, under the direction of the Executive Director, is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and repair and maintenance of the surveillance equipment and for updating surveillance equipment and vendor files. The position is responsible for the daily supervision of the Surveillance Technicians and operation, maintenance and upgrading of the enterprise level surveillance equipment at 5 Kewadin sites.
Essential Functions:
(includes, but is not limited to, the following)
- Supervise Surveillance Technicians; make recommendations for hire/fire, schedules, approval of leave and recommend disciplinary and corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, install and order surveillance equipment.
- Set up IP networks for new installations.
- Program surveillance equipment for use in facility; server and workstations at all Kewadin Casino locations and all Tribal buildings equipped with surveillance systems.
- Research, build, and deploy solutions for storage, virtualization, and automation.
- Maintain a written record of all maintenance and preventive maintenance tests and checks performed. This log should contain information that can be used to estimate equipment costs (i.e. hourly time for repairs and maintenance, preventive maintenance, supplies used, etc.).
- Perform scheduled maintenance and cleaning on cameras and systems.
- Interact with team members, peers, and vendors.
- Assist or observe vendors in the installation of equipment so that an understanding of the equipment can be obtained for future use
- Recommend and purchase new surveillance equipment following policy.
- Maintain MICS (minimum Internal Control standards) compliance requirements for Surveillance
- Maintain Gaming License and CJIS Compliance requirements
- Maintain Daily Work Logs and Schedules regular system maintenance.
- Provide annual estimates of all potential Surveillance repairs, and additional Surveillance equipment needed for future budget preparations.
- Responsible for working knowledge of CCTV or IP video management components.
- Pull wires for the installation of cameras and/or surveillance equipment.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Communicate regularly with the Surveillance Managers and site General Managers to update them on all project installations
- Manage and oversee safety procedures and ensure department employees adhere via training, personal protective equipment and awareness

Additional Responsibilities: (includes, but is not limited to, the following)
- Assume duties of Surveillance Operator when required.
- Work with law enforcement personnel on surveillance camera placement as needed.
- Provide law enforcement personnel with surveillance videos as needed.
- All other duties assigned relatable to this scope of work.

Physical Requirements:
Position sedentary primarily sitting with a lifting a maximum of 50 pounds, and assisted support to lift to 100 pounds. Physical factors include constant sitting, hearing, smell, near/midrange/far vision, depth perception, color/field of vision; exposure to high places; occasional standing, walking, carrying/lifting, pushing/pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, driving, and bending. Working conditions include working in a confined area for extended periods of time;
climbing and working from ladders, tolerance of heights and being able to perform work duties while on tall ladders and/or mechanical lifts, frequent computer use and occasional exposure to electric shock, infectious exposure and client contact. Personal protective equipment/clothing needed to perform job include standard job specific safety equipment.
Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required. An associate's degree in computer, electrical, or related field is preferred.
