Description
We are looking for Fiber Drop Installation Professionals to perform drop construction services including, but not limited to: underground and overhead drop installations; splicing; stick, pneumatic and directional drill boring; trenching; operating a mini skid steer; plowing; digging; gaffing; along with ladder-work outside of homes and businesses.
This position will be reporting to the field.
Schedule- Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week.
- Currently looking to fill a Monday - Friday schedule; however, is subject to change depending on the needs of the business.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed in addition to regular travel.
- As part of your job duties, you may be required to travel depending on the project needs.
- When work is slower in your market, there may be an occasion that you would be asked to travel to another market location to help with the workload either in state or out of state.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Preferred experience with performing underground and/or aerial drops in FTTH settings.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s minimum safety standards.
- Proficient in Internet-related applications such as email and web browsers.
- Familiar with quality testing methods and interpreting fiber optic schematics.
- General knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods.
- Aptitude to read and interpret fiber records, staking sheets, specification sheets, and circuit diagrams.
- Ability to splice fiber as directed.
- Thorough understanding of hand tools and power tools.
- In-depth understanding of technology-based services, products, and networking.
- Able to meet physical requirements: climb ladders, work in confined spaces and/or various heights, lift and/or move up to 75 lbs., squat, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for long periods of time.
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to work.
