Asplundh - - Responsibilities:
Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with a ladder, safety belt, climbing line, powered trimmer lift truck, or from ground with gasoline-powered tools;
Cuts branches or trunk sections and lowers them to the ground; uses wedges, sledges, and chainsaws for felling;
Sprays stumps and brush to prevent regrowth; loads/unloads logs and debris; operates wood chipper when needed;
Maintains equipment and tools; relays signals and directs traffic; assists in training new employees;
Safeguards employees and the public from hazards; works around energized power lines; performs duties at various heights and terrain
