HR Manager Position at MCFN

Location: Sault Ste. Marie

Join the Missanabie Cree First Nation as a Human Resources Manager. This full-time position is centered on enhancing workplace culture and strategic alignment in Sault Ste. Marie.

As HR Manager, your key role will be to oversee human resources functions and strategies that embrace MCFN's cultural values. You will work with various leaders to ensure the organization meets its staffing and operational needs. Your insight and experience will help in shaping a supportive work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective HR management across MCFN locations

• Create inclusive workplace strategies for engagement

• Collaborate with Directors on staffing solutions

• Uphold compliance with labour laws and policies

• Promote cultural sensitivity and revitalization in HR processes

Requirements:

• Human Resources Designation required

• At least five years of progressive HR leadership experience

• Familiarity with relevant employment regulations

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Ability to travel as necessary
