Become a key player at Wesdome as a Hoist Mechanic, ensuring maintenance and repairs at the Eagle River Complex are conducted safely and effectively. This role is crucial for mining operations.

Wesdome is looking for a dedicated individual with provincial Millwright Mechanic certification and a minimum of five years’ experience in an underground mining environment. You will excel in performing equipment maintenance while prioritizing safety and team collaboration, contributing to a clean and hazard-free work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair various mining equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

• Keep work areas clean and organized at all times

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members

• Perform maintenance and repairs on hoists and compressors

Requirements:

• Millwright Mechanic certification required

• 5+ years experience in underground mining

• Valid (G) driver’s licence

• WHMIS certification required

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
