Truck and Coach Mechanic;

Ledcor Highways is hiring skilled Truck and Coach Technicians/Heavy Duty Mechanics for our Highway Maintenance team in Ontario. In this role you will perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as plow and sanding trucks, loaders, and light support gear used to keep roads safe.

• Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
• Wawa, Ontario

• Journeyperson Mechanics: base rate $46.75/hr
• Skilled trade premium $15/hr in Wawa and White River
• Relocation packages available

• Monday to Friday work week, 10-hour shifts
• Shop based with travel to various field operations required

• Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as plow and sanding trucks, loaders, and light support gear
• Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
• Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required

• Must have a 310T Truck and Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority, or a Red Seal On‑Road ticket
• Previous experience with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving and maintenance equipment (e.g., snowplows) an asset
• 421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket an asset
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a 3‑year driver’s abstract
• Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions, including sketches and diagrams
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision

Wage range: $28.05 – $48.90 per hour. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification, apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location. Remote or site‑based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including travel and accommodation allowances.
