Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time;
On-site
- Responsible for receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, inventory control
- warehouse & inventory maintenance, monitoring costs and productivity
- Directs, supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock records in warehouse
- Trains new workers.
- Coordinate management of general administrative activities with the warehouse manager.
- Responsible for DOT, OSHA, HACCP and related warehouse/driver operational compliance requirements
- Other duties as required to support warehouse management team and on-going operational needs
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including sacks of rice
- Push and pull up to 80 lbs
- Operate warehouse machinery including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with management and peers
- Process information accurately and meet strict deadlines
- Organize and prioritize daily work activities
- Monitor materials, inventory, and warehouse surroundings
- Prepare goods for shipment or storage
- Count, sort, and move products and materials
- Read and fulfill order requirements
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Perform repetitive physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting for extended periods
- Work in indoor warehouse environments, including hot and cold temperature conditions
- Wear required protective equipment and follow all safety procedures
- Take ownership and accountability for work outcomes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of successful warehouse leadership experience
- Experience working within a diverse and unionized workforce
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable, deadline-oriented work ethic
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments with repetitive movements and extended standing periods.
