Accounting Manager

We are a growing, well-established landscape company. We pride ourselves on quality work, strong client relationships, and a collaborative internal team. We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and help support continued growth.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. This role requires hands-on expertise with Quick Books and solid knowledge of standard accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger
• Maintain accurate financial records in Quick Books
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations
• Coordinate with external accountants, payroll providers, and tax professionals
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls as needed

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books (required)
• Solid understanding of standard accounting principles and best practices
• Experience managing accounting for a small to mid-sized business
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Landscaping, construction, or service-industry experience is a plus

$75,000 - $110,000 yearly
