W2E Field Laborer
To provide general construction labor tasks, in an efficient and safe manner. The W2E Field Laborer will work as part of a W2E crew focused on the renovation, maintenance, repair, and restoration of existing structures. The W2E Field Laborer will take direction from the W2E Field Foreperson.
Completes general construction labor tasks necessary for completion of W2E projects
Takes work direction from erection crew foreperson or bricklayer
May perform work of a miscellaneous nature as directed by foreperson
Uses materials/supplies in an efficient manner
Handles equipment in a responsible manner
Follows established safety procedures and policies
Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation
Experience working with concrete or masonry construction
Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions
Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
Ability to work from heights, including but not limited to ladders and aerial work platforms
Ability to obtain membership to a local union
General knowledge of construction practices
Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed
2+ years of construction or manual labor experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Welding certification
Experience working with precast and/or site-cast/tilt-up concrete
Experience running concrete cutting equipment
Caulking experience
Concrete and masonry restoration experience
Field:
Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailer
Field:
All types of weather conditions (year-round, Mid-west and Northeast), dirt/dust, noise from heavy machinery/vehicles
