Rate of Pay: $49,792 - $103,062 per year

REPORTS TO: Principal and Assistant Principal
JOB GOALS: Management of Student Discipline Process and Student Attendance System.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the student discipline and behavior management system, in cooperation with Counselors.
- Manages student attendance system, in cooperation with Attendance Coordinator.
- Monitors and ensures staff compliance with student attendance taking procedures.
- Oversees In‑School Suspension and Loss of Privilege study hall programs and communicates program needs and expectations with staff assigned these areas of supervision.
- Oversees supervision of lunchroom; directs staff assigned to lunch duty.
- Member of Student Assistance Team.
- Works with School Resource Officer in matters relating to student criminal conduct and other disciplinary issues (e.g., harassment, safety, etc.).
- Interprets school discipline and attendance policies and procedures and communicates them to students, parents/guardians, and the community.
- Communicates to parents/guardians regarding individual student disciplinary action as required by law or as necessary to further the goals of the student discipline and behavior management system.
- Works with guidance staff to seek alternative forms of education for students who are unable to function effectively within the regular school environment.
- Works with Chemical Health Coordinator, Student Support Specialist, and Activities Director as appropriate in matters relating to student use of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs.
- Attends after‑school student events and activities as needed.
- Supervises Campus Supervisor, Attendance Coordinator, and secretarial staff working on student discipline and attendance matters.
- Serves as Building Principal in absence of Principal and Assistant Principal.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed by Principal or Assistant Principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: As per teachers' collective bargaining agreement.
