Position Overview
Elementary Interventionist:
Behavior - Long Term Substitute
Hours/Day: 8 hrs/day (8:10-4:10)
Day/Year:
Mid September through Mid February
Compensation/benefits:
BEA Contract
- Support students' academic achievement, retention, and attendanceby working directly with student support services, administration, teachers, community organizations and families
- Assist in facilitation of communication between school and student's families
- Work with district & site leaders to establish student programming that is designed to help students successfully navigate ISD 191 school
- Serve as aliaison to parents
- Partner with school staff to program for school initiatives with academics and behavior.
Preferred bilingual fluency with Somali or Spanish language, oral and writtenfluency required
