Robot Welder

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Robot Welder to join our welding team. This role is responsible for operating a robotic welding machine, inspecting weld quality, and handling the welding of heavy cylinders and metal components. Ideal candidates will have experience in robotic or manual welding and an understanding of quality control, safety, and continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor robotic welding machines
• Perform quality checks on welds to ensure accuracy and structural integrity
• Weld heavy cylinders and other metal components to exact specifications
• Select, measure, cut, and join metals using appropriate welding methods
• Prepare metal surfaces and parts for welding (grinding, cleaning, clamping, etc.)
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols as needed
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working order
• Maintain accurate records of production and inspection results
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all company safety guidelines and PPE requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating robotic welding machines preferred
• Familiarity with MIG welding and working with heavy metals
• Basic understanding of metal fabrication and weld quality inspection
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work with heavy materials throughout the shift
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
