Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our client, a leader in the hydraulic systems industry, is seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join their team. As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be part of the Mobile Hydraulic Business Unit supporting manufacturing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Hydraulic Technician
Location: Savage, MN
Pay Range: $27 - $34/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:30AM - 4:00PM (Overtime available)
What's the Job?
- Assemble hydraulic systems including valves, pumps, motors, and manifolds according to specifications.
- Inspect parts and components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Test assembled units for quality, quantity, and performance expectations.
- Paint and finish completed units in the paint booth.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
- 2-year fluid power associate degree or related mechanical discipline.
- International Fluid Power Society Certificate.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in fluid power assembly or shop environment.
- Working knowledge of fluid power systems; testing and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for 95-100% of the workday.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning, including maintaining certifications.
