Job Overview

Cub Bloomington Lyndale is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a Part‑time Bookkeeper position. Bookkeepers perform daily store accounting procedures, providing management with accurate and timely reporting of the store’s cash flow, and ensuring proper security and confidentiality.

• Ensure positive customer relations and satisfaction.
• Perform daily store accounting procedures.
• Conduct security procedures for the bookkeeping office, information, and contents.
• Provide for clean, efficient organization of the bookkeeping office.
• Perform front‑end duties.
• Assist with front‑end maintenance and cleaning.

• Operate equipment such as scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, telephone, etc.
• Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service during on‑going customer interaction.
• Use good judgment when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or written instructions; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk on uneven ground.
• Reach, bend, turn, and perform repetitive motions.

• Early morning shifts. Weekend availability required.
