The starting hourly wage ranges from $21 to $28, determined by your specific experience level. You can expect a standard work week of 40 to 45 hours, primarily during the morning shift with minimal overtime requirements.

Core Duties:

• Execute motor repairs ranging from basic to intricate by disassembling, sanitizing, fixing, reassembling, and testing assigned units.
• Utilize advanced mechanical expertise and technical schematics to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Follow standardized protocols to assess equipment, identify necessary components, and determine the scope of required repairs.
• Ensure quality standards are met by conducting all necessary repair testing as mandated by company policy.
• Manage inventory by ordering required components for every unit undergoing processing.
• Keep management informed by providing regular updates regarding any scheduling challenges.
• Optimize workflow by prioritizing daily tasks as assigned by your supervisor or lead.
• Support a productive environment by maintaining your tools, toolbox, and workspace in an orderly fashion.
• Enhance your professional capabilities by participating in product knowledge sessions and mandatory safety training.
• Help ensure consistent equipment performance by performing routine, repetitive inspections and maintenance on testing tools.
• Contribute to team output goals by maintaining the repair efficiency standards established for your technician level.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma and a relevant Technical School Certification are required.
• An Associate degree in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a combination of equivalent education and experience is preferred.
• We prefer candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience working with mechanical equipment or electric motors.
• Individuals with mechanical backgrounds in alternative fields are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry is essential.
• Demonstrate accuracy by effectively evaluating and completing digital work orders.
• Proficiency in the operation of manual, pneumatic, and electrical hand tools is required.
