Location: Buckhead, Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote)

Role SummaryThe Tax Associate will support the delivery of high-quality tax and family office services to a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, trusts, and private foundations. This role offers broad exposure across tax compliance, research, and client service, with opportunities to collaborate closely with senior professionals across tax, insurance, philanthropy, and accounting functions.
This position is well suited for candidates who enjoy variety, value technical growth, and want to build a strong foundation in private client and family office tax.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare tax work papers, projections, and federal/state returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and private foundations
- Perform tax research and support complex client situations with well-reasoned analysis
- Prepare materials and deliverables for quarterly client meetings
- Participate in weekly scheduling and workload planning discussions
- Present on assigned tax technical topics during team meetings
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Assist with additional family office and client service responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (degree completed; no current students)
- Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting firm experience required
- 0–3 years of public accounting experience (recent graduates welcome if firm requirement is met)
- Strong technical foundation in individual, trust, partnership, and foundation taxation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- CPA eligibility preferred (150 hours helpful but not required)
