We are partnering with a top-tier residential property management firm in Atlanta, GA. They are seeking a Residential Property Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting operations across multiple properties and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This is a hybrid position reporting to the office 2-3 times per week.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for multiple residential properties
- Review and approve bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable and support expense management
- Participate in audits and assist with compliance initiatives
- Research and resolve complex accounting issues
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in residential property management
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) preferred
