Summary: The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company, is seeking compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented individuals to serve as Case Management Aides for the Georgia Housing Recovery & Rehousing Program (GA HRRP). In this important support role, you will assist onsite Case Managers in helping individuals and families affected by disaster events by performing administrative tasks, supporting applicant intake, and ensuring proper documentation is collected and tracked.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking entry-level experience in housing services, case coordination, or disaster recovery programs.
- Assist Case Managers with in-person intake and eligibility screening by preparing and organizing intake forms and materials.
- Collect and review applicant documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter data into case management systems and maintain confidential records in accordance with program guidelines.
- Respond to applicant questions and provide clear, respectful communication about the next steps in the process.
- Support the coordination of daily operations at field offices and recovery sites.
- Help schedule appointments and track applicant progress through the placement process.
- Collaborate with Case Managers, site leads, and local partners to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Identify and escalate concerns or issues to appropriate team members for resolution.
- Maintain professionalism and empathy while working in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in administrative support, customer service, or human services is preferred. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting disaster-impacted communities with compassion and efficiency.
- Prior administrative, clerical, or support experience in human services, housing programs, or customer-facing roles is a preference.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn data entry systems are required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, during active deployments.
