Job SummaryThe Work Study Student will support the Center for Wildlife Education as an Office Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Spring 2026.
Note: Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Employment is contingent upon funding.
Responsibilities- Answer multi-line phone and direct to appropriate staff
- Perform clerical tasks to support staff such as file, copy and create spreadsheets
- Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service
- Accept deliveries and notify appropriate staff of deliveries
- Total sales on a cash register by recording prices and itemizing customers' purchases
- Prepare daily deposits for Cashiers Office
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Up to 15 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
- Some nights and weekends will be required
Educational Requirements
- Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Other Required Qualifications
- Must be Federal Work eligible.
Proposed Salary: $12.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
