Job Summary and QualificationsProvides administrative support by performing a variety of duties for efficient operation of the department. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.
Manages department general office duties including but not limited to answering phones, vendor information, correspondence/reports, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and other administrative projects as needed. Prepares agendas & meeting notes as required. Monitors and updates payroll system accurately. Enters paid time off, unscheduled time and missed punches. Assists management in updating employee attendance records. Processes invoices and purchase orders for approval, prepares financial reports and maintains department statistics.
Orders supplies and uniforms and ensures office equipment is in good order. Assist in the onboarding of new employees. Confidentially maintains department files including employee records, training records, purchase orders, and vendor contracts/ invoices. Manages keys and badges for contractors.
- High School Graduate / GED
- Administrative Assistant experience is strongly preferred
- Must be experienced with Word and Excel
