Job Description
The Fleet Account Reconciliation Associate provides critical administrative support for fleet operations with a primary focus on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of fleet-related financial data. The incumbent will be responsible for daily accuracy of fuel drop entries in Asset Works, ensuring accuracy of transactions in monthly reporting, distribution of fuel cards, developing and maintaining work process documentation, and processing customer report requests.
EssentialDuties
- Audits reports, transactions, fuel cards, and computer equipment.
- Reconciles year-end financial transactions.
- Reviews, researches and enters information into department reporting systems.
- Performs office functions, including records management, document preparation, data entry and mail distribution.
- Provides customer support by responding to phone calls and assisting walk-in customers.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Manages inventory of office supplies.
- Coordinates and tracks procurement of materials and supplies, as needed.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
The grade for this position is B21(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or GED AND
- Two years of administrative support or related office experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
- Associate degree or higher in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience working with fleet management or fuel accounting systems, particularly Asset Works.
- Demonstrated experience with financial reconciliation, transaction auditing, or month-end/year-end reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
