Position OverviewJob Type: Full time (Hourly)
Exempt/Non Exempt: Hourly
A Technician C at AAA Car Care will perform routine scheduled maintenance on automobiles and trucks under the direction of a Manager or Service Advisor, ensuring quality repairs and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
- Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance services.
- Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare them for and complete digital vehicle inspections.
- Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experience.
- Pay rate starting at $42,000 annual (rate fluctuates based on productivity and annual bonus eligibility).
- Hourly base pay with eligibility for annual incentive, certification bonus, and flat-rate production pay.

- Work‑life balance: closed Sundays, short workdays (closing at 6 pm), Monday‑Friday 7:30 am–6 pm, Saturday 8 am–4 pm, closed major holidays.
- High School diploma, GED or technical school graduate; certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program.
- Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools and technical resources to independently perform a variety of basic repairs and maintenance.
- Demonstrated proper use of equipment and tools, maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to improving customer service scores.
- ASE Certifications (e.g., A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes).
- G1-Auto Maintenance & Light Repair.
- State inspection certificate where applicable.
- AC 609 Certification.
- May experience loud noises and intermittent odors in the shop.
- Position requires standing, walking, reaching, grabbing, lifting and carrying automotive parts and equipment (up to approximately 80 pounds).
- Must have own tools appropriate for skill level and use them in the center.
- Must work in heat, as some locations do not have air conditioning.
- Must maintain a standing work posture for the entire shift in a concrete facility.
