Procurement Manager

Citi Trends is seeking a Retail Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing operations across our non-merchandise categories. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company secures the goods and services needed to support our Stores, Distribution Centers, and Corporate teams in a cost-effective and operationally efficient way.

This is a high-impact role that partners across Finance, Store Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Facilities, and Merchandising to drive disciplined sourcing strategies, cost optimization, and strong vendor partnerships.

• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for non-merchandise categories such as store fixtures, DC equipment, packaging materials, signage, IT services, and facilities maintenance.
• Develop procurement strategies that improve service reliability while controlling costs.
• Build strong vendor relationships that support innovation, service quality, and measurable savings.

• Oversee purchasing processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Partner with Store Operations and Distribution teams to forecast supply needs for new stores, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement best practices or new technologies.
• Conduct spend analysis and vendor performance reviews to identify savings opportunities.
• Track key procurement metrics including cost savings, contract compliance, and vendor performance.
• Partner with Finance and FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.

• Support enterprise initiatives including new store openings, remodels, and operational projects.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams on sourcing strategies and vendor negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive operational efficiency and supplier performance.

• 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in retail, distribution, or consumer goods
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience managing contracts and supplier relationships
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities
• Experience with procurement or ERP systems (Workday, Coupa, SAP Ariba, or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field required
