Job Overview

Schneider is seeking a Fleet Manager in Savannah to serve as a coach to a group of owner‑operator truck drivers who do business with Schneider. The Fleet Manager will talk to owner‑operators about business‑related issues and answer any questions they have related to their lease with Schneider.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate owner‑operator business sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with owner‑operators' leases.
  • Administer operating standards concerning public safety and regulatory compliance within Schneider and Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
Skills and qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of transportation experience preferred.
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Have solid analytical skills.
  • Can take initiative.
  • Able to understand how data drives technology.
