General Superintendent

My client, a well-established civil and utilities contractor in Georgia, is actively seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations and drive successful project delivery across multiple sites.

They are looking for a strong field leader who can oversee crews, manage subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. This is a key leadership role with significant influence over project execution and team performance.

• Oversee day-to-day field operations across civil and utility projects
• Lead, mentor, and manage field staff and subcontractors
• Maintain project schedules, productivity, and quality control
• Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and compliance standards
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Support planning, sequencing, and resource management
• Troubleshoot field issues and proactively mitigate risks
• 8+ years of experience in civil construction or utilities (water, sewer, storm, sitework, etc.)
• Proven leadership in a Superintendent or General Superintendent role
• Strong understanding of heavy civil equipment, site logistics, and utility installation
• Excellent communication and team-building skills
• Commitment to safety and quality

Based in Georgia, with travel to various project sites as needed.
