Scaffold Supervisor
We are seeking a Scaffold Supervisor to assist the E&D Construction Manager in managing all aspects of the E&D department, including scheduling, employee development, and recruiting. The Supervisor will safely and effectively supervise and direct up to three Foremen and their crews to erect and dismantle scaffolding without the direct and continuous supervision of the E&D Construction Manager. Additionally, the Supervisor serves as the competent person on site as required by OSHA and follows the Sunbelt Competent Person Procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist E&D Construction Manager in scheduling, employee development, and recruiting.
- Supervise up to three Foremen and their crews to erect and dismantle scaffolding safely.
- Act as competent person on site per OSHA regulations.
- Mentor and coach E&D Foremen and Lead Carpenters to help them advance in their roles.
- Design scaffolding layouts, order materials, and maintain workflow.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 40 lbs or more in indoor/outdoor settings.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum seven years of combined experience as Scaffold E&D Carpenter, Lead Carpenter, Foreman 1, and Foreman 2, or approved equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
- Knowledge of OSHA scaffolding rules and regulations.
- Understanding of various scaffold materials and load requirements.
- Experience designing scaffold layouts and ordering materials.
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 lbs or more, and working indoors or outdoors as needed.
CompensationBase Pay Range: $27.07 – $37.21 per hour (starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience).
