Position SummaryWeareseekingaskilledandsafety-focused
Dozer Operator
tojoinourconstructionteam.
Theidealcandidatewillhaveexperienceoperatingbulldozersinsitedevelopment,grading,landclearing,road construction,andearthmovingprojects.
Thispositionrequirestheabilitytoworkefficientlywhilemaintainingqualityworkmanshipandadheringtoallcompanysafetystandards.
- Operatebulldozersafelyandefficientlyonconstructionsites.
- Performroughandfinishgradingaccordingtoprojectspecifications.
- Clearland,movesoil,andspreadmaterialsasdirected.
- Readandinterpretgradestakes,siteplans,andprojectlayouts.
- Conductdailyequipmentinspectionsandcompleterequireddocumentation.
- Identifyandreportequipmentmaintenanceorrepairneeds.
- Workcloselywithsupervisors,surveycrews,andotherequipmentoperators.
- FollowallOSHA,company,andjobsitesafetyrequirements.
- Assistwithgeneralconstructiontasksasneeded.
- Minimumof2yearsofdozeroperatingexperiencepreferred.
- Experiencewithsitedevelopment,grading,andearthmovingoperations.
- Abilitytoreadgradestakesandunderstandconstructionplans.
- Strongknowledgeofequipmentsafetyandmaintenanceprocedures.
- Abilitytoworkoutdoorsinvaryingweatherconditions.
- Reliabletransportationanddependableattendance.
- GPSmachinecontrolexperience(Topcon,Trimble,Leica,orsimilarsystems).
- Experienceoperatingadditionalheavyequipmentsuchasexcavators,loaders,motor graders,orcompactors.
- Knowledgeofsitepreparation,road construction,andutilityinstallationprojects.
- Abilitytosit,climb,bend,andperformphysicaltasksthroughouttheworkday.
- Abilitytoliftupto
50poundswhenrequired. - Abilitytoworkextendedhoursandoccasionalweekendsasprojectdemandsrequire.
